Occasion In The Snowstorm is a sonic simulator game that employs gaming as method of sound production, which aims to challenge contemporary information system and authorityof sound production.
Robinson called "hungry listening" in specific reference to settler colonial forms of perception that seek to "civilise" or "settle" Indigenous sounds. "civilise" or "settle" Indigenous sounds. The game create a blizzard scene where the character is walking in solitude. Chance sound track is triggered and remixed via player’s unpredicted operation,which return the authority of sound production to the player. In the preposterous and disorientating game world, endless noise and aimless action trap the player in the occasion of snowstorm.
