Flickering: Last Shout is a hot-blood CG fictional film about technical infrastructure, global virtual industry and ethnic minorities. It explores the integrated data landscape of southwest China as well as the individual emotion and indigenous narratives hidden behind it.

Flickering: Last Shout starts from field research in Guizhou. As a mountainous area inhabitited by ethnic minorities, Guizhou is well-known as big data centre of China. The technological infrastructure in this region and virtual image distributed on global market is interwoven with indigenous narrative of ethnic minorities in a state-led sinofuturity. The film interweaves research, fiction and indigenous narrative into a fantastic jungle of pan-comunicationlism to expand story as Illusion of simulate image. This CG film employs hot-blood animation of East Asia Young Culture as an emotion agency to release our repressed, fragile emotion in data system.
