 Flickering: Last Shout is a hot-blood CG fictional film about technical infrastructure, global virtual industry and ethnic minorities. It explores the integrated data landscape of southwest China and indigenous narratives.

Flickering: Last Shout starts from field research in Guizhou. As a mountainous area inhabitited by ethnic minorities, Guizhou is well-known as big data centre of China. The technological infrastructure in this region and virtual image distributed on global market is interwoven with indigenous narrative of ethnic minorities in a state-led sinofuturity. The film interweaves research, fiction and indigenous narrative into a fantastic jungle of pan-comunicationlism to expand story as Illusion of simulate image. This CG film employs hot-blood animation of East Asia Young Culture as an emotion agency to release our repressed, fragile emotion in data system.
